The Agent Loop
What separates an agent from a chatbot or a single model call. Model, tools, memory, and guardrails as the four load-bearing components. Build a first working single agent scoped to a bounded goal.
Tools, Context, and MCP
Designing permission-scoped tool interfaces, managing context and memory across steps, and connecting agents to systems and data through the Model Context Protocol.
Multi-Agent Orchestration
When one agent is not enough. Orchestration patterns, role assignment, handoffs between specialized agents, and the failure modes a multi-agent system adds that a single agent does not have.
Evaluation, Observability, and Governance
Task-level success metrics, tracing every tool call and decision, cost and latency monitoring, human-approval checkpoints, and moving an agent from prototype to something you can trust in production. Capstone project.

- The Prompt Engineering Bootcamp teaches how to design inputs that get reliable output from a single model call. AI for Developers is a broader ML and LLM integration program covering fundamentals, embeddings, and fine-tuning. The AI Agents Bootcamp goes further: it is specific to autonomous systems that plan, call tools, and act across multiple steps, including multi-agent orchestration, tool permissioning, and the evaluation and governance work needed to run agents safely in production. Teams often take Prompt Engineering or AI for Developers first, then this program to specialize.

- The curriculum covers the agent loop (model, tools, memory, guardrails), the difference between a single agent, a multi-agent system, and a fixed agentic workflow, tool design and integration including the Model Context Protocol, context and memory management, multi-agent orchestration patterns, and the evaluation, tracing, and governance practices that keep an agent system observable and safe once it is live.

- Yes. Participants build a working single agent early in the program, then extend it with tools, memory, and evaluation, and work toward a capstone exercise that applies multi-agent orchestration to a business workflow. Each participant works in a live development environment against real model APIs rather than slides alone.
- What frameworks and tools does the bootcamp cover?
- The program is model-neutral and covers the categories that make up the current agent tooling landscape: raw model APIs, orchestration frameworks, the Model Context Protocol for tool and data integration, and evaluation and tracing tooling. Lightbridge Automation selects the specific stack for each cohort based on the languages and platforms your team already uses.
